DAY 01 & 02: Departure MONTREAL - HANOI
DAY 03: ARRIVAL – HANOI
Arrive at Noi Bai airport, meet Escape Vitours tour guide and driver. We will greet you and you’ll be transferred to your first hotel. Free time to relax and enjoy Hanoi Old quarter.
DAY 04: HANOI CITY TOUR
Exploration of Vietnam’s charming capital. This is known for its country-style streets, colonial French architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas. The city tour will include the Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and still house, the Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple and a choice between the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum.
Dinner at one of Hanoi’s finest restaurants and enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance, a unique Vietnamese Art form.
DAY 05: HANOI – HA GIANG CITY
Leave early for Ha Giang. it is the place where almost 90% of the population are ethnic minorities with their own cultures and lifestyles. As you leave the Red River Delta the scenery will start to change as you enter the mountains of Northern Vietnam. Have lunch at local restaurant on the way.
After lunch, the drive to Ha Giang which is the northernmost province in Vietnam, consisting of breathtaking scenery, a colorful array of hill tribes and vibrant local markets. Arrive in Ha Giang City and check in hotel.
DAY 06: HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH
After breakfast, we set out for a short drive to visit a beautiful stilt-house village of the ethic Tay minority, take a short walk around to view the daily routine of the locals and learn about their basic life in the area. After that, we continue on the morning drive up to the highland region of Ha Giang. The scenery is getting more stunning with high passes and august mountains. The typical photo opportunities are at Quan Ba Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate with some steps to a view point atop a hill.
Lunch is at a local restaurant in Quan Ba little town. In the afternoon, you will drive to visit a little village, called Hop Tien where you can learn how the H’mong villagers are making the traditional flax fabrics by their simple technique. Then you will head for Yen Minh town, a gateway place to the well-known Karst Geo-park. Just a few minutes from Yen Minh town, you are dropped off at Buc Ban Village of the Tay people for an easy hike. Hiking to this village late in the afternoon is peaceful and nice.
DAY 07: YEN MINH – LUNG CU FLAG TOWER – DONG VAN – MEO VAC (B, L, D)
This is the highlight in Ha Giang, we discover the Dong Van Geo-park. Dong Van Karst Global Geopark is the home of 17 ethnic minority groups. Ethnic minorities create a unique and rich cultural heritage of the area. The topography of this geo-park is really amazing, covered by grey color of rock and tough tribal lives that you can see along the drive.
One of the stops you can make is at Pho Cao for a stroll to view some typical houses built by clay and roofed with Yin-and-Yang tiles. After that, continue your way to Sa Phin. Here you walk to visit the Palace of a H'mong King which was built by Vuong Chinh Duc, actually a H'mong rich and powerful man in 19th century, the house is located in Sa Phin valley.
Then you move on with a scenic drive to Lung Cu Flag Tower, the northernmost point of Vietnam. Climb to the top of the tower for a panorama view over the area which is very near Chinese border.
In the afternoon, you make your way to Meo vac via Dong Van town. Ma Pi Leng Pass. It’s probably one of the most beautiful roads you can ride in Vietnam.
DAY 08: MEO VAC SUNDAY MARKET – BA BE LAKE (B, L, D)
If today is Sunday, it will be a colorful morning with the weekend market by many different ethnic groups in the regions. Meo Vac Sunday market is famous with the animal trading and colorful with the traditional address of the H'mong people. We will go to Bac Kan Province via Cao Bang for the famous giant fresh-water lake, Ba Be which is located inside Ba Be National Park.
Arrive at a homestay of the Tay people in the late afternoon. Check in and free at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at the local stilt house.
DAY 09: BA BE LAKE – HANOI (B, L, D)
This morning, we will embark a boat ride on the lake. The cruise is through the flat green surface before turning into a River where you can visit Dau Dang Waterfall and then upstream to Puong Cave. Around noon, get back on the private vehicle and transfer to Cho Ra Town for the lunch. The afternoon drive will get you back to Hanoi, check in your hotel and free until dinner time.
DAY 10: HA NOI – BAI TU LONG BAY (B, L, D)
Halong Bay in the Gulf of Tonkin or the Bay of the Descending Dragon consists of 1969 limestone islands on the watery landscape, living local life with some small floating villages, deserted sandy beaches, admirable wonderful caves.
A recognized Natural Wonder of the World, Halong Bay is made up of thousands of sculpture-like limestone peaks jutting out of the aquamarine waters, creating islands of varying shapes and sizes for a must-visit destination in a lifetime.

DAY 11: BAI TU LONG BAY – HA NOI – HUE (B ,L, D)
Early-bird on-site Tai Chi session. The perfect art form to condition and charge your physical and mental energy for the day After breakfast, you can explore the village yourself on kayak or comfortably capture the daily life of the fishermen on bamboo boat rowed by the locals.
Get picked up and transfer to airport to take a direct flight to Hue.
Arrive in Hue, warm welcome and transfer to hotel for check in.
DAY 12: HUE CITY TOUR – HOI AN
Visit to the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City. This site was constructed between 1804 to 1833 it served as the administrative Centre of the country from 1802 to 1884. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a visit to two other vital historic sites: Float along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, and Khai Dinh’s Tomb (the tomb of a former emperor that melds into the natural landscape. The walk through the complex is very interesting and informative.
Departure for Hoi An. Stop at Hai Van Pass, the high dividing line between the climate zones of North and South Vietnam, to admire the spectacular views and at the fishing village of Lang Co.
DAY 13: HOI AN
In the morning, walking tour in the Old Quarter, visiting some major sites such as an ancient merchant house, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the vibrant riverside market.
From the 16th to 18th centuries Hoi An was a thriving international port frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders, who came to trade in the high-quality silk still produced in the region.
Rest of your day is free for shopping or enjoying beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 14: HOI AN – DA NANG – NHA TRANG
Nha Trang is a coastal resort city in southern Vietnam known for its beaches, diving sites and offshore islands. Its main beach is a long, curving stretches along Tran Phu Street backed by a promenade, hotels and seafood restaurants. Check in hotel and free at your leisure.Overnight in Nha Trang.
DAY 15: NHA TRANG TOUR & HOT SPRING THAP BA
In the morning, our car and guide will pick you up and transfer to Cau Da Port for a boat trip to explore the ocean of Nha Trang. This little coastal town is surrounded by pristine islands and gorgeous beaches. If you haven’t taken a boat trip out into the water of this world-renowned bay, then this is your opportunity to truly discover Nha Trang. Clear turquoise water with excellent visibility at Hon Mun makes it a heaven for scuba diving and snorkeling.

DAY 16: NHA TRANG – HO CHI MINH ( B ,L, D )
Take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City after your breakfast. The flight takes you about 1,5 hours. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and warmly welcomed by our guide and driver. The transfer takes you to the downtown for lunch at a restaurant.
After lunch, you will explore Saigon, a city that never sleeps! With its vibrant, exciting energy and brimming with people, you’ll quickly notice how modernity has collied with its rich history. The tour begins with a visit to Central Post Office and the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883. Neo-Romanesque in form, the Notre Dame is the major seat of the Catholic religion in modern. We continue our tour to visit the moving War Remnants Museum. This is a poignant display of the futility of war. We pass by the Reunification Palace. Here on April 30th 1975 the war officially ended when tank 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time, the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
End the day with a short walk through Ben Thanh market, a good place for you to observe the daily trading activities of the typical Saigonees.
DAY 17: HO CHI MINH – CAN THO – TRA ON – CHO LACH
Depart Ho Chi Minh City after breakfast for Can Tho heart of Mekong Delta for one of the highlights of the tour – a cruise on the mighty Mekong River and the chance to witness life on and around the water of the ‘Nine Dragon River”.
10h30-11h00 A.M: Arrival at the pier in Can Tho, boarding a local boat to discover the floating market of Cai Rang, one of the most typical markets of the aquatic region.

Lunch on board while our boat sails to Tra On.
In the afternoon, you will leave for a pleasant walk, on foot or by bike, on the paths lined with greenery. A few planned stops allow you to discover concretely the life of the local inhabitants, orchards or fields of green rice.
DAY 18: CHO LACH – CAI BE – HO CHI MINH
Breakfast on board. Continue our cruise to Cai Be. On arrival, sampan ride to explore the quaint and lively floating market of Cai Be.
Following a stroll through the lush vegetation to visit the villages and discover the local crafts: rice alcohol factories, coconut candy, pop-corn and rice paper.
Visit of a sumptuous traditional residence, former imperial residence, where you will discover the sublime interior and walk through the garden strewn with fruit trees. The tea is ready to serve you, accompanied by a tasty sample of tropical fruits. Walk through the arroyos in the vicinity of Cai Be.
DAY 19: CU CHI TUNNELS & CAO DAI TEMPLE
The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War as protection against American air raids. Those inclined are invited to crawl through selections of the tunnels to better understand what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during wartime.
Next you will visit the beautiful Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, this large and colorful compound is home to the hybrid religion founded in the 1920s: Caodaism, which combines elements of Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam in order to promote peace. Have lunch in Tay Ninh and return to Saigon in the late afternoon.
DAY 20: HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE (B)
Bid Vietnam farewell, and transfer to the airport for your return flight home
